PERBADANAN Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) yesterday held a closing ceremony for TAIB Entrepreneurship Programme at Design and Technology Building, Kampong Anggerek Desa, Berakas. The programme, organised in conjunction with TAIB 25 Years anniversary, was supported by DARe (Darussalam Enterprise) and managed by Startup Hub.
Present as the guest of honour was Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Investment) at the Ministry of Finance, as member of Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors. Also present was Hajah Noorrafidah binti Sulaiman, Acting Managing Director of Perbadanan TAIB.
The guest of honour presented the certificate of participation to the 54 participants who registered and completed the two-week Entrepreneurship Programme. Throughout the workshop, participants developed various skills to expand their business knowledge including the game of entrepreneurship, developing sustainable businesses, developing business proposals as well as pitching skills that will equip them in starting up or expansion of their businesses.
According to a representative from TAIB, the aim of the programme was to enhance the knowledge and skills of SME entrepreneurs in Brunei Darussalam in line with the nation’s Vision 2035. It is TAIB’s aspiration that through the programme, participants will be able to develop strategies in order to attain sustainability and growth.
