THE Creative Core BN (TCCBN) in collaboration with Kaleidoscope Studio and supported by Teach Me Teacher and iCentre will be hosting a Mini Art and Design Technology ‘open day’ in conjunction with DARe’s (Darussalam Enterprise) Demo Day tomorrow at the iCentre, Anggerek Desa Techology Park.
The event will be a mix of both talks and demonstration sessions conducted by local individuals currently active in the arts and design technology. Following an afternoon of learning, the day will end with an indoor night market that will include local food and drink vendors, live art sketches as well as local music acts.
The speakers include Haji Osman of Creative Space Brunei and Khairul Anwar from DotRoot Technologies. There will also be product design (crafting), 2-D digital painting and 3-D design sessions conducted by Jasmine Koh of United Network Entertainment and Sesame World Technology.

The sessions will run from 12.30pm until 5.30pm and entry is free, while the indoor night market starts at 6pm and ends at 10pm.
Charlotte Lim, Co-founder of Creative Core BN, in an interview with the Sunday Bulletin said that the event is an opportunity for the public, especially fresh graduates, to explore the vast possibilities of career options in the lucrative art and design technology sector.
“Most of the speakers are either former or current incubatees at the Anggerek Desa Technology Park and a mix of avid individuals currently active in the industry. We hope during the event, the public can learn more about the career opportunities in the industry and at the same time inspire more youth to venture into the new yet thriving industry,” she added.
TCCBN is a creative company that aims to showcase local artists on both online and offline platforms. It showcases its work through social media with an effort to develop and grow their presence through small and large scale events. The focus and spotlight is put on the creative process behind the art form to expose the often overlooked effort that goes into producing an art piece.
