“This edition of Francophonie Week comes with a new concept – Promoting the cultures of both France and Brunei Darussalam,” Forgeron said.
“This year’s dinner reflects the spirit of sharing between Brunei and France, as well as their will to promote their cultural roots and beauties together through the art of cuisine. The Good France Brunei Gastronomique Dinner symbolises the close friendship between both countries,” she added.
Meanwhile, the guest of honour said it was a pleasure seeing collaboration of both Brunei and French culinary heritages together.
“It is always a great pleasure to be here on this gastronomic journey, which is a unique opportunity to enjoy and share the taste of France,” he added.
The dinner aimed to promote the cuisine and showcase the cultures of both sides.
This was the third Good France edition organised by the French embassy in Brunei Darussalam for Francophonie Week. It was also the first time that Brunei dishes were featured alongside their French counterparts.
