CREATIVE Space Art Gallery yesterday held its ‘Art Fair: A Funfair Fusion with Art’ at Dermaga Diraja Art Gallery in the capital, allowing the public to get better acquainted with the art community here.
The art and cultural event, held to mark the first anniversary of the EMERGE project, saw members of the public trying their hand at two activities: Colour Pop – where darts were thrown at paint-filled balloons taped onto a canvas to create colourful splattered paintings, and the Cube Jam, where participants translated their creative ideas into works of art on cube boxes.
The art fair was handcrafted by the gallery in collaboration with event partners that included The Creative Core BN, Kaleidoscope Gallery, United Work Entertainment and Dermaga Diraja in a bid to pique public interest in the world of interactive art and at the same time tap the creative juices of active artists.
The event will continue to be held on the last Sunday of each month until the year end, as part of the gallery’s long-term vision in fostering and contributing to the flourishing ecosystem of Brunei’s creative industries.
Throughout April, Creative Space Art Gallery held a host of fun and unforgettable activities for all participants.
