HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, granted an audience to Tan Sri Dr Ali bin Hamsa, the Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia, during a ceremony at the Istana Nurul Iman yesterday.
The Malaysian envoy is in the country for the 16th Exchange Visit Programme for Senior Civil Service Officers of Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia.
Present at the audience ceremony were Datuk Ghulam Jelani bin Khanizaman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam; Dato’ Sri Alwi bin Haji Ibrahim, Secretary General, Ministry of Home Affairs, Malaysia; and Dato’ Sri Zainal Rahim bin Seman, Director General of Public Service Department Malaysia.
Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance II; Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Roselan bin Haji Mohamad Daud, Acting Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister’s Office; Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Permanent Secretary (Corporate Affairs and Public Administration) at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Abdul Walid bin Haji Matassan, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Corporate Affairs and Public Administration) at the Prime Minister’s Office; were also present.
Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam also consented to receive in separate audiences, the wife of the Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia, Puan Sri Datuk Rohani binti Abdullah.
Present at the audience ceremony were Datin Rusziah binti Haji Ghulamdin, the wife of the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam; Tan Sri Dr Madinah binti Mohamad, Auditor General of Malaysia; and Datin Sri Roba’Aishah binti Mohd Ghazali, the wife of Secretary General Ministry of Home Affairs of Malaysia.
Datin Hajah Sapiah binti Haji Sabtu, the wife of Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance II; Datin Dr Hajah Asmah binti Haji Morni, the wife of Acting Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister’s Office; Hajah Binanun binti Haji Bungsu, the wife of Permanent Secretary (Corporate Affairs and Public Administration) at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Hajah Siti Ainun Jariah binti Haji Mohd Jaafar, the wife of Deputy Permanent Secretary (Corporate Affairs and Public Administration) at the Prime Minister’s Office were also present.
