SERI Pahlawan Brunei Darussalam recently brought home a trophy from the 4th International Dragon FCAS Sabah Boat Race that ran for two days in Teluk Likas, Kota Kinabalu.
Seri Pahlawan qualified for the finals of all four events they took part in.
Seri Pahlawan emerged victorious in the 800m Dragon Trophy event (20 mixed rowers), recording 3:52.14.
Lela Cheteria finished a close second (3:52.35), followed by Brunei National (3:52.67).
Seri Pahlawan clinched second spot in the 200m Kinabalu Dragon event (12 men rowers) with a time of 00:59.03 – just behind Sayang Lawas who clocked 00:58.14.
Seri Pahlawan pocketed a total of RM10,000 in cash prizes.
The competition saw the participation of eight teams from Brunei among the 61 teams from Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
