EIGHT babies who were born on the 56th Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) anniversary on Wednesday (May 31) were given hampers during a thanksgiving ceremony yesterday.
Three babies were born at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital in the capital, three at the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in Belait District and two at Jerudong Park Medical Centre in Jerudong.
The hampers were from the RBAF, RBAF Wives’ Association (BAKTI) Koperasi ABDB (KOWIRA) and Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd.
On hand to present the hampers at RIPAS Hospital was the spouse of the RBAF Commander, Pengiran Datin Nuur’Izzah Nabilah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad Al-Sufri. Also present were officers and staff of RIPAS Hospital and representatives of BAKTI’s Administrative Committee.
Meanwhile, hampers were presented by Datin Hajah Rasidah binti Brahim, the spouse of the Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force at the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, and Pengiran Datin Noralam binti Pengiran Haji Kahar, spouse of Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy presented the gifts at the Jerudong Park Medical Centre.
