PROGRESIF Cellular Sdn Bhd (Progresif) team has grown to 265 people, creating more than 130 jobs, and increased its customer base to more than 150,000.
This was revealed by Paul Taylor, Progresif ’s newly appointed CEO, in his speech during the opening of the renovated Progresif flagship store at Petani Mall in Tutong yesterday.
Taylor added that Progresif’s obligation to expand its business to help serve communities, help the economy by creating jobs, and investment in the development of the information and communication technology sector help the country progress in line with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s Vision 2035.
“We believe that quality of service is at the centre of what we do and providing the best customer service is one way we differentiate ourselves. In keeping with this critical theme, our flagship stores are built to offer a unique experience through a consultative approach, catering to the needs of our customers,” he said.
The store in Tutong was renovated to reflect the modern Progresif brand. Renovation, which took a few months to complete, was done to ensure that the store’s overall design and look emanate a progressive retail experience and feel.
The guest of honour Edzwan Zukri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Adanan, Progresif Board member, officiated the store’s launch.
Tutong District Officer Shamsul Bahrin bin Haji Mohd Hussain, Legislative Council representative for Tutong YB Haji Abdul Wahab bin Apong, Ade Nurismah Azurine bin Haji Ismail in her capacity as Chairman of the Tutong Municipal Department, and Nurul Haniah binti Haji Jaafar, Head of Legal and Regulatory of Progresif were also present.
Bob Gill, Progresif’s Chief Sales Officer, said, “We are delighted to reopen our new retail experience store in Tutong, which is completely different to what we had before. Now, our customers can touch, feel and experience the latest technology in mobile handsets and tablets we have on offer.
“Our store team is also readily available to advise and recommend on which solution best fits the customers’ needs.”
Hafiza Mohamad, Progresif’s Corporate Communications Ma-nager, said, “The Progresif brand is all about constant improvement and progress. The company has grown so much in the last two years. Now, we’re happy to solidify our presence in Tutong with the refurbished store so that our customers can get a fresh perspective on the Progresif brand.”
