YB PEHIN Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, Speaker of the Legislative Council (LegCo), received a farewell visit from the outgoing Ambassador of Japan to Brunei Darussalam, Noriko Iki at the LegCo building.
Acting Clerk to the Legislative Council, Rose Aminah binti Haji Ismail and other senior officials of the Department of Councils of State were also present.
Both sides expressed appreciation for the close ties established between the two countries and cooperation rendered throughout Noriko Iki’s tenure as an envoy in the Sultanate. Both sides also expressed hope for relations to be further strengthened.
