Princess graces Ramadhan Al-Mubarak Expo

HER Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah officially launched the Ramadhan Al-Mubarak Expo 2017 yesterday at the BRIDEX Hall, Jerudong.

Upon arrival, Her Royal Highness was greeted by Pengiran Zamree bin Pengiran Haji Bujang, the Chairman of the expo and members of the organising committee.

At the event, Her Royal Highness toured the stalls of the participating vendors.

A number of vendors participated in the Ramadhan Al-Mubarak Expo 2017, which included locals as well as a number of Malaysian celebrities. The expo, organised by Pulseline Management Services and Songket Wedding, will be held until June 14.

According to Pengiran Zamree, the event will serve as a platform by vendors, local and abroad, in establishing mutual business cooperation. At the same time, the expo aims to foster closer ties among the vendors and provide opportunities to market local products.

The one week event, will also see several activities, including religious programmes by the Islamic Da’wah Centre and Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA).

In an interview, local vendor, Zubaidah binti Haji Abdul Rahman, owner of the FoodBar.bn who launched her business in 2014 hoped that the expo will generate income as well as promote a number of her products, such as spicy popia, rolled popia and dried agar-agar.

Meanwhile, in an interview, Nur Fazura, a popular Malaysian celebrity as well as the owner of House of Dolls shared with the Bulletin that it was her second participation at the expo in the Sultanate.
