THE Bangabadhu Parishad Brunei Darussalam organisation hosted an Iftar (breaking of fast) for its members at the Mangrove Paradise Resort on Friday.
Present as the guest of honour was Air Vice Marshal Mahmud Hussain, the Bangladesh High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, who was received by Mustafa Rajali, President of Bangabandhu Parishad Brunei Darussalam, and Mahabubur Rahman, General Secretary of Bangabadhu Parishad Brunei Darussalam.
The event is held annually to strengthen relations between members of the organisation and the Bangladesh High Commission in Brunei Darussalam as well as to enliven the holy month of Ramadhan with the breaking of fast.
