A 4×4 vehicle allegedly driven by a local lost control and plunged into a stall in front of a house along Jalan Pandaruan in Limbang, Sarawak, killing one person and seriously injuring another.
The incident, which happened last Saturday, is currently under investigation by the Royal Malaysia Police.
A distress call was received around 5.13pm and eight personnel from the Limbang Fire Station alongside emergency response services rushed to the scene.
It was reported that the casualties were sisters selling traditional Malay cakes at the roadside stall in front of their home.
The victims were rushed to hospital by the public. One succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. The other had a broken hip and sustained injuries to her legs.
