A CHARITY Market was recently organised by Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar Secondary School (SMPJNPHAB) for their students and a presentation of donations to orphans studying in the school.
Over 125 students received necessity items worth $500, provided by Massutera Engineering Sdn Bhd.
Haji Abdul Malik bin Haji Abu Bakar, Village Head of Kampong Pandan ‘B’ as the guest of honour handed over some of the donations to the orphans of SMPJNPHAB.
Also present was Haji Muhammad Alfie bin Haji Omar, Managing Director of Massutera Engineering Sdn Bhd.
The event began with a speech by Cikgu Gudaihenah binti Yadai, Deputy Principal for Academic of SMPJNPHAB.
She said the event represents one of the activities organised by the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) of the school to aid students who are less fortunate by providing them donations.
She hoped that the aid will help them during Ramadhan as well as for the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations.
The event continued with the presentation of donations.
