THE Association of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects (PUJA) Brunei held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at its headquarters recently.
The annual ceremony held to commemorate the holy month of Ramadhan marked the PUJA Brunei members’ completion of the recitation of the 30 Juzuks of the Al-Quran.
Dato Paduka Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Deputy Minister of Development and senior member of PUJA Brunei; President of PUJA (Brunei), Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof; and other members of PUJA Brunei attended the event.
The ceremony started with mass recitations of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the Al-Quran and Takhtim recitations.
The event concluded with mass Maghrib prayer and breaking of fast.
