PENGIRAN Maidin @ Muhyiddin bin Pengiran Ahmad was the luckiest participant of NBT’s ‘Toyota Raya Draw’ promotion yesterday, as he won the first prize of a $5,500 shopping voucher.
Only the day before, Pengiran Maidin had purchased a newly released Toyota Wigo from the NBT showroom. “Alhamdulillah, I feel blessed by Allah the Almighty with such luck,” he said. “This is the first time (that I have won anything in a draw).”
With shopping voucher prizes worth $2,500-$5,500, an Apple iPhone 7 and several mountain bikes up for grabs, the promotion was open to all who had purchased Toyota vehicles between May 1 and June 20 this year.
Other prize winners included Noorlaila binti Haji Awang Damit and Shy Kostinah binti Abdullah.
NBT staff conducted the draw in front of a nervous but eager crowd at the ballroom of Hua Ho Manggis Mall.

Prizes were given away by NBT Management – Haji Ahmad Omar bin Haji Husin, NBT Senior General Manager (Sales) Leong Cheng Soon, NBT Senior Manager (Customer Relations) Sharifah Marianah Othman and NBT Sales Manager (Gadong) Haji Shahrum bin Haji Md Jaafar, while the auditor was S Rozaimarlenny Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Abdul Rahman.
Also present at the event were the executive officers of NBT Brunei.
