THE ‘Belait’s Got Talent’ competition was held recently at the Tudung Saji Complex, featuring several schools from across the Belait District.
Organised by Anthony Abell College and its school board committee, the event featured 62 performers who showcased their talents in dancing, singing and even a taekwondo display.
The guests of honour were Haji Haris bin Othman, the Belait District Officer; and Asman bin Haji Tengah, the Head of Education in Cluster 6.
In the primary school category, the overall winner was Tunas PGGMB Primary School, with Muhammad Alam Primary School in second place and St James’ School in third.
In the secondary school category, St John’s School took top honours, with St James’ School coming in second and Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar Secondary School taking third place.
The judges were Chan Mun Yok, Anthony Abell College; Abraham Lotivio, St John’s School; Krisnata Hisal, Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Secondary School; Faizal bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Panaga Primary School; and Hajah Nor Megawati binti Haji Mohd Yusof, Perdana Wazir Secondary School.
