FIRST Admiral (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, the Deputy Minister of Defence attended the 11th Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX-2016) at the King Abdullah I Airbase in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Present at the airport to receive the delegation was the Nayef H Al-fayez, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, according to a press release.
The deputy minister paid a courtesy call on Dr Abdullah Ensour, the Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, where both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen the excellent bilateral relations between both countries, particularly in defence and military cooperation.
Both Brunei Darussalam and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan also discussed other regional and international security matters of mutual interest.

The deputy minister also witnessed a demonstration of ground and air mobility tactical displays, and visited the exhibition which provides updates on the latest technology and trends in various defence and security fields, particularly specialising in special forces equipment and services.
Accompanying the deputy minister to the event was Captain (Rtd) Haji Mohammad Amirul Shahnoel bin Haji Mohammad Noeh, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Technology) at the Ministry of Defence, and Colonel (Rtd) Nooradin bin Haji Ya’akob, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
