THE Asean@50 exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, was launched at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas yesterday.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof officiated the launch.
The exhibition was organised to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean).
The exhibition is organised in cooperation with the embassies and the high commissions of Asean member states and Asean Dialogue Partners in Brunei Darussalam as well as government agencies such as the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT).
The event will feature over 20 booths displaying information on Asean and various products. The exhibition booths were prepared by embassies and high commissions of Asean member states and Asean Dialogue Partners in Brunei Darussalam.
The event will continue today from 9am to 5pm.
