HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning left Beijing, People’s Republic of China after concluding the State Visit.
Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
Prior to leaving the hotel, Doa Selamat was recited by Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.
Before boarding the royal aircraft, His Majesty walked past a static guard mounted by the People’s Liberation Army.
Present at Beijing Capital International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty were Kong Xuanyou, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China; Yang Jian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam; Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Datin Paduka Magdalene Teo Chee Siong, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the People’s Republic of China.
