THE Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Primary School yesterday organised a mass Sunnat Hajat prayer for a total of 153 Year 6 students, who will be sitting for their upcoming Primary School Assessment (PSR) examinations this month.
The event took place at the school’s multipurpose hall.
Present as the guest of honour was the Chief Executive Office (CEO) of YSHHB School, Noorhaizamdin bin Haji Mohd Mosbi.
The morning event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah read by Mohd Wafii Syafiq bin Haji Mosliadi, a Year 6 Saturn student. It then continued with a mass Sunnat Hajat prayer led by Ustaz Mohd Nabil bin Haji Maidin and later the recitation of Surah Yaasiin led by Ustaz Noor Hashim bin Kassim.
The ceremony later saw the recitation of Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee Celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s Accession to the Throne.
A talk on ‘Persiapan Menghadapi Peperiksaan PSR Pelajar dan Ibu-bapa’ was delivered by Cikgu Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Nawi, Director of Curriculum Development at the Ministry of Education (MoE). Also present during the event were Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammed Al-Mokhtar bin Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz, and his daughter, Pengiran Nur Aabidah Syifa binti Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammed Al-Mokhtar, the granddaughter of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul ‘Ali Yil-Kabier bin Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz and son, Pengiran Anak ‘Abdul Muta’ali Haziq Hamidullah bin Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul ‘Ali Yil-Kabier, the grandchild of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.
