Organisers in collaboration with the Japanese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam also brought a successful entrepreneur from Toyooka City in Japan.

Hajah Kertini and Elizabeth, local vendors from the Pekan Kuala Belait Village Consultative Council (MPK Pekan Kuala Belait), said the expo helps to promote Brunei’s local produce under one roof.

‘”We are selling locally produced organic oyster mushrooms for various methods of cooking. We also supply our own brand of fertiliser for those interested in starting an oyster mushroom farm,” said the vendors.

Meanwhile, one of the many food vendors from the streets of Thailand are also making an appearance at the expo with the Roti Sai Mai and sweets from the region of Ayutthata, the old capital of Thailand.
