HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning held a bilateral meeting with Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India. The bilateral meeting was held at the Philippines International Convention Center (PICC), Manila.
During the bilateral meeting, His Majesty and the Prime Minister of the Republic of India discussed current issues and exchanged views on regional and international concerns including cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Republic of India.
Accompanying the Prime Minister of the Republic of India were Ajit Doval, National Security Adviser; Dr S Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary; Preeti Saran, Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA); and Suresh K Reddy, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Asean.
Present during the meeting was Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II.
