THE Ministry of Health (MoH) held a Dikir Maulud ceremony in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration at the Kampong Bunut Mosque yesterday.
The MoH delegation was headed by Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Zulkarnain bin Haji Hanafi, Minister of Health.
The ceremony started with the mass Maghrib prayer followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the head of the delegation and continued with the recitation of Dikir Syarafil Anam.
The ceremony continued with mass Isyak prayer and the event ended with the recitation of Doa Selamat.
A total of 35 people from MoH were present in the Dikir ceremony, including Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, Permanent Secretary at the MoH, Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy) at the MoH, as well as senior officers, staff and the Dikir group of MoH.
The Kampong Bunut Mosque Takmir Committee as well as residents of Kampong Bunut were also present.
This event sought to encourage MoH officials in glorifying and commemorating the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
