TUTONG District Volunteers Group (SUKA), a volunteer organisation comprising mem-bers from the Tutong District, held ‘Sumbang dan Bantu’ Programme at the Community Hall of RPN Bukit Beruang recently.
The guest of honour, YB Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahit, a member of the Legislative Council (LegCo) and Penghulu of Mukim Telisai, distributed coupons to 200 people comprising underprivileged Mukim Telisai residents.
Over 4,000 pieces of clothing donated by the public were inspected for quality before distribution.
The programme aimed to strengthen ties among participants and provide assistance to people in need of clothing.
The public can donate clothes through a ‘drop point’ at the SUKA office in Jalan Sungai Basong, Tutong.
