Prior to the appreciation dinner, a friendly football match and tug-of-war game between RBPF and SPF was held at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium, Police Headquarters in Gadong.

Since 1993 the annually conducted BRUSING exercise represents the bilateral cooperation shared in the long history between RBPF and SPF.

The Ghurka contingent comprising 46 personnel from SPF, completed the annual exercise at Mariam Camp in Temburong District on March 23, after 16 days of jungle and survival training in the dense forest.
