Flood-hit officers receive donations

DONATIONS in the form of daily necessities were handed to five police officers and their families residing at the flooded barracks of Bukit Puan Police Station, Labi.

The donation, contributed by the Belait Police District of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), were distributed to the officers by Supt Mohammad Azrie bin Haji Talip, Officer-in-Charge of the Kuala Belait Police Station, along with a group from the Police Headquarters in the Brunei-Muara District led by Supt Hajah Rosnie binti Haji Ali, Head of the Internal Audit for Discipline, Welfare and Counselling Division of the RBPF.

Three police officers and 20 staff members from the Belait Police District Headquarters, Sungai Liang Police Station, Labi Police Station, and Internal Audit for Discipline, Welfare and Counselling Division of the RBPF were present.

Floodwaters in the area have reached depths up to one metre.
