BRUNEI Darussalam continued to experience bad weather, with two trees being uprooted at the Hassanal Bolkiah Highway yesterday morning during rush hour, causing one car to be badly damaged, while a tree was uprooted in Jalan Mabohai.
Car accidents were also reported across the country. Flood waters, meanwhile, continued to affect residential areas such as Kampong Menengah in the Temburong District.
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) in a statement said that due to the incessant rainy weather, car accidents have occurred across the country and roads have become submerged and inaccessible. There were also wide reports of uprooted trees.
The RBPF advised road users to slow down and be more careful when driving due to the hazardous and slippery road conditions. Drivers were cautioned to be more alert and pay extra attention to road safety.
