A TOTAL of 559 kindergarten pupils from Taman Asuhan Kanak-Kanak Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (TASKA YSHHB) attended the school’s ‘Career Day’ event yesterday which carried a January theme of ‘Myself’.
Pengiran Anak ‘Alisha Husnara Jaida Bulqiah binti Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul ‘Ali Yil-Kabier, the granddaughter of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah, and Pengiran Muhammad Abdul Hadee Mubasheer bin Pengiran Anak Abdul Badee’, the grandson of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Nasibah, also participated in the event.
Cikgu Noorhaizamdin bin Haji Mohd Mosbi, the Chief Executive Officer of YSHHB School, was the guest of honour at the event. The event began with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Cikgu Iman Harith bin Abdullah Chan, followed by the singing of the national anthem and school song.
The guest of honour also presented certificates of appreciation and souvenirs to parents attending the event. The event saw parents sharing information with the kindergarteners about their careers and the different types of jobs, and encouraging them to pursue their ambitions.
