THE Deputy State Mufti, Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain @ Maidin, as a representative of the State Mufti, Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, will be attending the 28th Conference of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs on invitation from Professor Dr Mohamed Moktar Gomaa, Egyptian Awqaf Minister.
The conference, themed ‘The Terrorism Industry and the Imperativeness of Combating its Mechanism’, is held at Grand Nile Tower Hotel, Garden City, Egypt from February 26-27.
Accompanying the Deputy State Mufti is Haji Mohd Sofian bin Awang Tengah, Senior Buhuth Officer at the State Mufti’s Office.
This year’s conference is hosted by the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs, under the guidance of the Ministry of Awqaf, Egypt.
