THREE men and a woman were recently detained and brought to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for further investigation after a search conducted by the Royal Brunei Police Force and Kiudang Neighbourhood Watch found drug paraphernalia and two packages of illicit drugs in one of the two vehicles used by the suspects.
The search was done as part of a crime prevention patrol.
Inspector Zulfadli bin Haji Awang Yusuf, Officer-in-Charge of Lamunin Police Station, led the patrol, which saw the involvement of both police personnel and members of the Kiudang Neighbourhood Watch.
The team came across the two suspicious vehicles at the Jalan Wasai Batu Mampan Jalan Sungai Burong area and carried out a search.
Also present during the patrol was Kampong Kiudang Village Head Haji Mohammad Saiful bin Abdullah Anja.
Meanwhile, another crime prevention patrol was conducted by the Tutong Police Station and Bukit Beruang Neighbourhood Watch on the same night, led by S/Sgt 2480 Mohd Azri bin Abdullah.
No suspicious activities were detected during the operation.
