THE Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) under the leadership of its Chairman, Yeo Tiong Lok, Vice Chairman, Lim Sam Lee and the Hon Secretary, Peng Eng Lee, conducted a three-day charity tour in Medan, Indonesia.

The eight-member team visited two orphanage homes, Panti Asuhan Claresta and Panti Asuhan SAM to distribute food, clothing and stationery to the children. The LLCS also joined with the Raja Gontar Foundation to distribute food and rice to 200 poor villagers from the foundation’s village and its surrounding villages.

The team had a first-hand experience in conducting charitable work at the places and exchanged ideas, mingled with the people and spoke to the management of the places.
