DATO Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), yesterday received two separate courtesy visits from Japanese Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Motohiko Kato and High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam Lim Hong Huai.
During the first visit, the minister and Motohiko Kato discussed two-way cooperation and exchanged views on issues including security, economy, education, communications and sports.
During the second visit, the minister discussed with Lim Hong Huai cooperation in economy, investment, public service, and also opportunities for exercise for public service officials.
Dayang Datin Hajah Elinda binti Haji CA Mohamed, Deputy Minister at the PMO, was also present during the visit from the Singapore High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.
The Sultanate established relations with Japan and Singapore in 1984.
Both visits took place at the PMO building.
