HER Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman yesterday attended the second day of the 26th Brunei Age Group Swimming Championships at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex Swimming Pool.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim ibni Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah competed in the freestyle, backstroke and butterfly events while Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah binti Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah took part in the freestyle and butterfly events.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah continued her impressive form after winning a gold medal in the 50m freestyle en route to setting a new age group record with a time of 55.90s.
Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah eclipsed a four-year record previously set by Breanna Lee with a time of 59.62s in November 2014.
She also won silver in the 50m butterfly event to follow with the gold she won in the breaststroke event during the opening day.
Also present was Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman ibni Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah.
The competition concludes today with several clubs and individuals looking to increase their haul of gold medals.
