IN VIEW of the upcoming release of Marvel’s most anticipated blockbuster ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ the Arena Cineplex, Seri Qlap Mall and Marvel Lush Enterprise have joined forces to co-organise ‘Superhero Day’ at the Atrium of the Seri QLap Mall.
Special Duties Officer at the Ministry of Home Affairs Haji Sueb Rizal bin Haji Abdul Malek officiated the launch of the two-day event yesterday. The event revolves around the ‘Infinity War’ theme, with one of the highlights being the Infinity Gems Treasure Hunt, requiring participants to complete six game activities to collect their very own infinity gems, which will then earn them a prize from the registration counter.
Additionally, visitors who come dressed in their very own cosplay will be given special gifts. There will also be special appearances by two local cosplay groups: The Alliance and The Allegiance.
Marvel Lush Enterprise owner Asrul Saniy noted that the collaboration is to promote the movie as anticipation builds in the run up to its release, and at the same time, provide local vendors a venue to sell their products.
The event sees the participation of 20 vendors including Apa Pun Ada, Smasherz Corps, Otaku Corner, Brunei Die-cast Collectors.
Local artists showcased their work at the event, while the Brunei Street Magician also turned up to put on a show for visitors.
