A MEMORANDUM of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Politeknik Brunei (PB) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
The MoU was signed by Denis Ho Mun Tai, the Director of PB and Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr Hassan Said, the Vice-Chancellor of UiTM.
A ceremony held yesterday at PB saw Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar, Assistant Director of PB attend as a witness to the signing.
Attending the ceremony on behalf of UiTM were Dr Sallehin bin Ismail, Coordinator of Industrial Linkages, Community & Alumni and Neta Suredah Baharum, lecturer.
The MoU marks the first official collaboration of PB with UiTM.
According to a press statement from PB, under the MoU, both parties have agreed to carry out efforts for mutual benefit through student engagement and research-based activities.
The press statement added that this cooperation demonstrated PB’s commitment in improving the relevance and effectiveness of teaching and learning for the students.
This collaboration also involved staff exchange programmes, student exchange, workshops, training and courses; seminars and conferences; as well as cooperation in various fields.
