POLITEKNIK Brunei (PB) yesterday launched the ‘Explore Brunei in Media Perspective’ exhibition at the Arrival Hall of the Brunei International Airport.
This photography and videography exhibition is organised by Level 5 Diploma in Digital Media students of the School of Information and Communication Technology at PB.
A total of 55 Digital Media students participated in the exhibition. The exhibition is based on the students’ work for the final year project in Digital Media programme.
The exhibition is divided into four categories and each category has three different themes. Each category showcases the districts of Brunei Darussalam.
Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT), Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali, as the guest of honour launched the exhibition.
Also present were Director of PB, Denis Ho Mun Tai; assistant director, heads of department and heads of school as well as lecturers, officers and staff of PB, MPRT and the Department of Civil Aviation.
The Acting Head of School of Information and Communication Technology, Mohammad Hamdani bin Mustapa said the exhibition not only demonstrated students’ marketable skills to explore the world of employment and entrepreneurship, but also showcased their talent and creative ideas that can contribute towards the development of media and creative industry in the country.
The exhibition is open to the public and is held for four days until April 29, from 9am to 9pm.
