BRUNEIAN Jet Ski riders dominated the inaugural P1 Aqua X Jet-Ski Race held in conjunction with the annual Labuan International Sea Challenge (LISC) 2018 last weekend at the Labuan International Sea Sports Complex.
In the P1 Aqua X Jet-Ski 300 horsepower category, Tan Kah Boon, racing on his Yamaha FZR, was crowned champion after accumulating 75 points followed by fellow Bruneian, Haji Idzam Norhaidi bin Haji Mashud with 65 points. Ismail Kabon also joined his fellow Bruneians on the podium with 51 overall points as 2nd runner up.
Meanwhile, Christopher Keasberry, also from Brunei, rode his Yamaha VXR jaunt to victory to become the fastest rider in the P1 Aqua X Jet-Ski 200 horsepower category with 75 points followed by Haji Mohd Isa bin Haji Mohd and Sahrul Ahad.
Champions in the both categories for the P1 Aqua X Jet-Ski received RM5,000 followed by RM3,000 for first runner-ups and $2,000 for second runner-up winners. All winners also received trophies and medals.
The Bruneian participants are members from the Brunei Jet Sports Association (BSJA).
The P1 Aqua X Jet-Ski Race Head Water Marshall Trainer lauded the accredited Bruneian Water Marshalls who were on duty during the race last weekend.
