The Ministry of Defence (MinDef) through the Directorate of Administration and Manpower has organised a pre-Ramadhan talk entitled ‘Tidak Ada Penyesalan di Ramadhanku Kali Ini’ to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Ustaz Haji Rusli bin Bakar, Acting Senior Religious Officer, Directorate of Administration and Manpower.
The talk was delivered by Ustaz Mohd Khairul Nazif bin Haji Damit, Assistant Professor Faculty of Usuluddin, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Brunei Darussalam.
The purpose of this talk is to increase the need to provide guidance and awareness of Ramadhan for the Muslim military officers and personnel of the ministry.
They were reminded to be prepared for Ramadhan, know the benefits of the holy month and finding a better life purpose so that they can focus on doing good deeds.

The talk also touched on the blessings of Ramadhan like holding prayers and reading the Al-Quran, and to gain blessings from their parents.
The event was attended by the Defence Executive Committee, directors, officers, civilian staffs and members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) under the directorates and unit under the MinDef.
The talk was held at the MinDef Surau in Bolkiah Garrison. The event ended with mass Asar prayers.
