BAIDURI Bank yesterday hosted an investment seminar for its Prestige members on diversifying their portfolio with Unit Trusts, held at the Emperor’s Court, Hua Ho Manggis Mall.
During the seminar, Baiduri Prestige members had the opportunity to learn about the importance of investment and the need to diversify their portfolios, in addition to learning about building investment goals.
The seminar was held in collaboration with Baiduri Capital, an entity under the Baiduri Bank Group that specialises in securities trading. In attendance was Peng Eng Soon, General Manager of Baiduri Capital and licensed Senior Financial Planners. The seminar was led by Joel Loo, a licensed Senior Dealer in Baiduri Capital.
Unit Trusts are managed by investment professionals. They are collective forms of money, from many investors, that are invested in different asset classes such as stocks, bonds, short-term money market instruments, and/or other securities. It is an investment product that offers Baiduri customers the benefits of diversification, liquidity and potentially higher returns than traditional fixed deposits.
Baiduri Capital offers five different types of Unit Trust funds: BlackRock Global Multi-Asset Income Fund, BlackRock Asian Tiger Bond Fund, BlackRock China Fund, BlackRock Global Allocation Fund, and BlackRock Global Equity Income Fund.
