Under the leadership of the SOBD advisor, the Pesta Sukan Ria MKOKU aimed to provide fun and games to members of nine different non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
Two games were split into two categories: Track-Based games and Field-Based games.
It is hoped the event, held for the first time, will be carried out annually with the collaboration of NGOs, government agencies and generous sponsors.

Meanwhile, Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) contributed to the inaugural sports festival in the form of human resource and funding as a means to better connect with grassroots organisations and communities within the country.
Similar to arrangements made for the recent National Family Day celebration, the company provided free ice cream, photobooth as well as bubbles for the enjoyment of all.
“As the main tele-communications provider in the country, we are exceptionally honoured to have been part of this landmark initiative that harnesses the talent, strength and endurance of Brunei’s special needs community, and we look forward to meaningful collaborations such as this as we continue to serve the country,” said TelBru Chief Executive Officer David Holliday.
