BURGER King Brunei, under the management of Sinofood Express, presented donations to Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam during a ceremony yesterday.

Marketing Manager Mohammad Izam bin Haji Ahmad, Operation Manager Saiful Zamhor, and Marketing Manager Lim Kai Wei presented the donations on behalf of Burger King to Haji Seruji bin Haji Setia, a representative of Pusat Ehsan.

Sinofood Express introduced a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme in 2015 with the installation of donation boxes at every outlet. Donations were collected and donated to three organisations – Society for the Management of Autism Related issues in Training, Education and Resources (SMARTER) Brunei, Pusat Ehsan and Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA).

Proceeds amounted to BND6,000. A total of BND2,000 was donated to each organisation.

A total of 100 goodie bags were also presented to children at the event.
