VENDORS and staff of Sumbangsih Mulia held Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil recitations at the Royal Mausoleum in Jalan Tutong yesterday.
The ceremony was held to pay respects to Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
Present at the ceremony were Chairman of Sumbangsih Mulia building Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh King Chin and Manager of Sumbangsih Mulia Haji Mansor bin Haji Mohammad Yassin. A total of 300 people attended the ceremony.
A recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil was led by Imam of Kampong Beribi Mosque Haji Abdullah bin Haji Tahir.
