SERIKANDI Group of Companies recently held a ceremony to hand over donated items to the less fortunate in the Belait District.
The ceremony, held at the hall of the Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque, is an initiative by the company to encourage its staff members to help those in need.
Serikandi Group of Companies Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Haji Khalid bin Shaikh Haji Ahmad handed over the contributions of rice and other basic necessities to more than 80 less fortunate individuals.
The ceremony began with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the presentation of the donations.
The donation recipients were also able to pick out festive attires donated by the company’s staff members, before the event came to a close with a Doa Kesyukuran.
