IT IS that time of the year again, when Muslims gather to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri together.

The tradition of going to open houses is made livelier as relatives and friends mingle and get to know one another better.

The festive vibe lasts for a month as visitors feast on delicacies like ketupat, lemang, rendang and satay.

With the long Hari Raya holiday weekend, most will only start work again on June 20.

The celebration is especially felt for children who receive green packets, adding more cheer to the festivity.
