Filling station opening hours during Ramadhan

BRUNEI Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM) recently announced the business hours of its retail filling stations for Ramadhan, and the company has advised members of the public to pre-plan their fuel purchases to avoid congestion at the stations.

In a recent announcement, BSM shared that most of the filling stations will be open on the first day of Ramadhan, excluding Masjory Service Station in Sengkurong and Badan Tanmiah Petrol Station & Trading in Kuala Lurah for Brunei-Muara District; PHA Bakar Filling Station in Kg Suran and KOPEKLAP Service Station in Kg Lubok Pulau for Tutong District; and Negalang Maju Sdn Bhd Petrol Station in Temburong District and Seri Chermin Filling Station in Kg Sg Besar.

BSM also shared what the opening hours of filling stations will be during Ramadhan in all four districts.

For the Brunei-Muara District, information on 21 filling stations was listed. Some of these stations and their opening hours are: Dayang Masni Service Station in Pekan Muara from 6.30am to 9pm; Pengalayan Service Station in Kg Kapok from 6.30am to 8pm; Berakas Filling and Service Station at Jalan Pasir Berakas from 6am to 10pm; Hajah Badariah and Sons Service Station in Kg Sg Lampai from 6am to 10pm; Koperasi Ikatan Teluk Mewah Petrol Station in Mentiri from 7am to 9.30pm; KOPPMB Gadong Service Station in Menglait from 6am to 10 pm; and Masjory Service Station in Sengkurong from 6.30am to 10pm. These particular stations will have breaks from 6pm to 7pm.

Also for the Brunei-Muara District, Persatuan KOTIBA Service Station in Kg Salambigar will be open from 7am to 10pm with a break from 6pm to 7.30pm; IBA Petrol Station and Trading in Kg Lambak Kanan opens from 6am to 12am; TAIB Delima Service Station in Kg Pancha Delima will be open from 6.30am to 11pm, with a break at 5.45pm to 7.15pm; Mabohai Service Station will be open from 6.30am to 5.30pm; Gadong Petrol Station at Jalan Gadong will be open from 7am to 10pm, with a break from 6pm to 7.30pm; Tumasek Petrol Station at Jalan Tutong will be open from 7am to 10.30pm; Shahryza Bunut Petrol Station in Kg Perpindahan Bunut 7am to 12am with a break from 6pm to 7.30pm; Syarikat Amanah Haji Abdullah Filling Station in Kg Kilanas from 6am to 12 am, with a break at 6.15pm to 7.30pm; as well as SATENAGA Service Station Kg Tanjong Nangka from 6am to 9.30pm, with a break from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, and Seri Chermin Filling Station in Kg Sg Besar from 6am to 5pm.

Concluding the list for Brunei-Muara District are: Mar’Azmala Petrol Station at Jalan Jerudong, open from 7am to 10pm, with a break at 6.15pm to 7.15pm; Bebatik Service Station in Kg Bebatik from 6.30am to 12am, with a break at 6.15pm to 7.15pm; Badan Tanmiah Petrol Station & Trading at Kuala Lurah opens from 7am to 9pm, with a break at 6.15pm to 7.15pm; and Tasamul Petrol Station in Kg Lumapas, which is open from 6.30am to 9.30pm, with a break at 5.45pm to 7.15pm.

In Tutong, information was shared on six filling stations, for which the opening hours and breaks are as follows: Kodrat Filling Station in Kg Lamunin from 6am to 9pm, with a break from 6.25pm to 7.10pm; Koperasi Kg Keriam Petrol Station from 7am to 8.30pm, with a break from 6pm to 7.30pm; PHA Bakar Filling Station in Kg Suran from 7am to 8.30pm, with a break from 6pm to 7.30pm; Pakatan Petrol Station at Jalan Enche Awang from 6.30am to 8.30pm, with a break at 6pm to 7.30pm; KOPEKLAP Petrol Station in Kg Lubok Pulau from 6am to 9.30pm, with a break from 5.45pm to 7.15pm; and Telisai Service Station from 6am to 9pm,with a break from 6pm to 7.30pm.

For the Belait District, the six filling stations and their opening hours are: Lumut Petrol and Station in Kg Sg Bakong from 6am to 10pm, with a break at 6pm to 7.30pm; Roxana Shell Service Station at Jalan Tengah, Seria from 6am to 10pm, with a break at 5.45pm to 7.15pm; KPPM Seria Service Station at Jalan Bunga Kenanga/Kuning from 6am to 8.30pm, with a break at 6.15pm to 7.15pm; Syarikat Perniagaan Melayu Kuala Belait Service Station at Jalan Panglima from 7am to 9pm, with a break at 6.15pm to 7pm; Koperasi SAPAKAT at Jalan Setia Negara from 7am to 8pm, with a break at 6.15pm to 7pm; and Koperasi Peladang Service Station at Kg Sg Teraban from 6am to 10pm, with a break at 6pm to 7pm.

The opening hours for the three stations listed from Temburong District are: Koperasi Petrol Station Temburong in Pekan Bangar from 8am to 5pm and Negalang Maju Sdn Bhd Service Station in Kg Negalang from 7.30am to 6pm.

The announcement concludes with the message, “The management and staff of Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd would like to convey best wish to all Muslims in Brunei Darussalam in welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan.”

Speaking to the Bulletin yesterday, a representative said that BSM wishes to advise the public to pre-plan their fuel purchases to avoid congestion at the stations. BSM would also like to remind customers to comply with the safety regulations when at the filling stations.
