PERBADANAN Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB) and its subsidiaries, Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sdn Bhd and Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd organised an annual dinner and appreciation night for its employees on Saturday night. The dinner took place at the Indera Samudra Grand Hall of The Empire Hotel & Country Club, Jerudong.
Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof in his capacity as the Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors with his spouse were the guests of honour at the event.
Also in attendance were Chief Syar’ie Judge and Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB Syariah Advisory Committee Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar, Deputy Minister of Finance cum the Deputy Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors Dato Paduka Awang Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, members of the Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors and its subsidiaries, members of the Syariah Advisory Committee and the employees of Perbadanan TAIB, Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sdn Bhd and Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd.
The event was held to honour employees of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries for their dedication, commitment and contribution towards the growth and accomplishments over the 26 years of its establishment.
This year, a total of 65 employees of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries as well as TAIB Shell Stations received recognition and long service awards, including one staff receiving the 25-year award, 17 for the 20-year award, nine for the 15-year awards, 23 for the 10-year award and 15 for the five-year award.
Highlights of the evening included a social hour, Tausyeh performance, presentation prizes for lucky draw winners and appreciation gift for each employee of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries.
