IN CONJUNCTION with the 57th anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), 114 special needs children of RBAF personnel, received donations during a Hari Raya celebration at the Punai Hall of the Royal Brunei Air Force Base yesterday.
Guest of honour Commander of the RBAF, Major General Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, and spouse, Datin Hajah Rasidah binti Haji Brahim presented the donations.
The donations were collected from the RBAF Welfare Fund, RBAF Wives Welfare Committee (BAKTI), KOWIRA, Makan Ceria Sdn Bhd and RBAF personnel.
Services commanders, deputy services commanders, military directors, commandants, RPK commanding officer, senior officers and personnel of the RBAF as well as the parents, guardians and relatives of the recipients were also present. The annual event recognised the support from the RBAF community and promoted a culture of giving and generosity among participants.
