A MASSIVE two-day joint operation held across all four district in the country has resulted in the recording of 110 offences – comprising 86 traffic compound and docket cases; 20 offences under Land Transport Department; three offences under Royal Customs and Excise Department; and one case under Narcotics Control Bureau.
Around 200 personnel from the Royal Brunei Police Force, Land Transport Department, Royal Customs and Excise Department, Immigration and National Registration Department, Narcotics Control Bureau as well as Religious Enforcement Division were involved in the July 12-13 operation.
Head of Enforcement Unit under Traffic Control and Investigation Department ASP Pengiran Omar Ali bin Pengiran Manshor led the operation. Each district was led by its Traffic and Investigation Officer of police district.
The operations hoped to raise awareness on the importance of complying by the laws of the country.
