BAIDURI Bank has been recognised by World Finance as The Best Banking Group for Brunei 2018. This marks the 10th consecutive year Baiduri has received this award, the first being in 2009. The award was presented to CEO of Baiduri Bank Pierre Imhof at the London Stock Exchange Studios, London.
Speaking on this latest recognition, Pierre Imhof said, “This is a remarkable milestone for the Baiduri Bank Group. We are honoured and proud to be recognised by World Finance as the Best Banking Group in Brunei for the 10th consecutive year.”
Following the award presentation, Pierre Imhof was interviewed by World News Media producer Paul Richardson on the progresses made by the group over the last year.
Speaking on how the bank is participating towards the economic diversification of the country, Pierre Imhof said, “We are working to develop products which are designed to help finance small companies.” He elaborated that Baiduri Bank also offers products not strictly related to financing such as corporate credit cards, the MerchanSuite service, mobile applications and Internet banking.
