A MEMORANDUM of Agreement (MoA) signing ceremony between Brunei DPMM FC MatchDay Magazine and its partners and supporters was held at My Favoureat Kopitiam in Berakas on Sunday.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin attended as the guest of honour.
Also in attendance were Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Iswandy bin Ahmad, members of the Brunei DPMM FC management, signatories and witnesses.
In his welcoming remarks, Sazali Mohd Ariff, the chief executive of AKK Design – Brunei DPMM FC MatchDay Magazine’s official publisher, paid special tribute to Baiduri Bank Berhad, an organisation he said, “has been our premium partner since day one from 2015 until 2017”, and “has played a pivotal role in growing MatchDay Magazine into what it is today”.
He revealed that the company will be adopting a new tagline, ‘Designing Your Future,’ and soon offer professional training and development programmes for the public and private sector, and participate in international forums and conferences in the near future.
“Our certified trainers and speakers will be both local and foreign. We will be conducting courses on customer service, media handling, sports management and self-improvement,” he said.
The event continued with a brief slide presentation, followed by the agreement signing for MatchDay Magazine and its partners.
Signing the agreement on behalf of AKK Design was Sazali.
Signing on behalf of Brunei Press Sdn Bhd as the magazine’s gold advertiser was its General Manager Reggie See.
Signing on behalf of Avantist as the magazine’s silver advertiser was Avantist Director Haji Awang bin Haji Ali, in the presence of Avantist Chief Executive Officer and Founder Keeran Dato Janin.
Signing for Nazmi Textile Mall was its Executive Director Mohamed Nazmi Rizhwan, and witnessed by Manager Mohamed Nazheef Rizhwan.
Signing the agreement for Cityneon Displays and Construction Sdn Bhd as the event’s official partner was Head of Designer Haji Kadir bin Haji Hidup. Sales Executive Nabil Ahmad played witness.
Representing Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), the magazine’s official airline partner, was its Chief Executive Officer Karam Chand, with Marketing Manager Alirahim bin Haji Abdul Rani as witness.
Signing on behalf of My Favoureat Kopitiam as the magazine’s official event caterer was its Supervisor Yusma Batrisyia binti Haji Saini, with Assistant Supervisor Nurul Nabilah binti Khalid Saban as witness.
A presentation of mementos to MatchDay Magazine partners and supporters, as well as the guest of honour concluded the event.
